Woof Woof,
My name is Cooper - 'Coops' for short. I am the Head Chef at Coopers Pet Kitchen.
My human dad (Shane Bradley) was looking for an opportunity to get back into the pet industry after selling his previous pet business. I had not really said anything to him but I think he knew that I was still a bit annoyed at him for selling it.
Then one day dad was getting dinner ready for me in the kitchen and he turned to me and said "Coops I think its time to make you a dog food" I wagged, rolled and bounced uncontrollably, I even licked his face. Coopers Pet Kitchen was born.
With no experience in Pet Food Manufacturing Dad reached out to the owner of a large pet food business that manufactures premium Pet Food in NZ and distributes into various markets around the world.
Together they believed there is a great business opportunity for a direct to consumer model of a premium quality NZ made pet food, delivered fast and efficiently direct to consumers.
Dad got me a sample of the food, and I loved it, the first flavour had some great NZ ingredients including lamb, Kiwifruit and Manuka Honey. Sooooo Good!
In January 2019 Dad starting putting together the team to help make my food and get it delivered in a cool box.
Meet the team:
Milly - Sous Chef
Her dad Aaron adopted her at the age of 2. Milly is a staffy-x and is now 9. Milly has had a bit of a troubled upbringing so its great to see her flourish. After we transitioned Milly to CPK, (we were really careful with the transition as she can get an upset tummy.) she hasn't looked back. Milly has her cup set to A3 and gets 1 cup morning and night.
Milo - Butcher Chef
Her Dad Rich sends all our emails and makes sure that as many people as possible find out about CPK and how great a product it is. Milo has loved CPK from day one and has a cup set on A7 and gets 1.5 cups morning and night.
Peggy - Fish Chef
Peggy's Dad Mikey has built this awesome website that helps us find out more about your dog. Peggy is a 3 year old French Bulldog.
Riggs and Huxley - Pantry and Saute` Chef
Riggs and Huxley's Dad Leo does all the design work around here, I have made sure its on dads list to come up with a cat food for them! Its always good to get a cats point of view - Riggs and Huxley provide this so we have a balanced approach in everything we do.
